Terms 1 and 4 (Summer)
Tennis is one of the major summer sports at College, with teams in each division of the Canterbury Secondary Schools' Wednesday competition.
Boys practice at the Te Kura Hagley Park Tennis Club under the guidance of the Te Kura Hagley club's professional coach and his team. All tennis players have access to these coaches. The top tennis squads train at Wilding Park under the guidance of Canterbury coach Matt Meredith.
The Senior A team participates in provincial, South Island and national school championships. Top junior tennis players also have opportunities to play in annual interschool fixtures against Otago BHS.
House tennis takes place in Term 1 for juniors and Term 4 for seniors.
