CCOBA Christchurch Long Lunch
Friday 20 November, 12–3pm, Christchurch Club
This is always a highlight of the Christ’s College Old Boys’ Association events calendar, and this year promises to be no exception!
We are delighted to welcome Professor Michael (Mike) Ardagh ONZM (1974–1978) as our guest speaker.
A distinguished Old Boy and pioneer in emergency medicine, Mike became New Zealand’s first full Professor of Emergency Medicine and was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his outstanding contribution to the field. His remarkable career has seen him at the forefront of some of Canterbury’s most challenging events, including the earthquakes and Christchurch mosque attacks. We are sure he will be a fascinating and engaging speaker, with plenty of stories to share.
The event includes canapés, entrée, main, sweet treats, and drinks for $130.

12pm — Pre-lunch drinks

3pm onwards — Post-lunch drinks in the adjoining Terrace Bar, followed by the usual free-for-all!
Old Boys are very welcome to join us for the Long Lunch, or simply come along for drinks afterwards. Food and drinks are pay as you go.

CCOBA Auckland AGM and Long Lunch
Friday 4 December 12pm
Calling all Auckland Old Boys! Join us for our ever-popular Auckland Long Lunch on Friday 4 December at the Horse & Trap in Mt Eden. We’ll be gathering in The Stables, a private dining room, for our traditional Round Table Annual Review, with plenty of good food, lively conversation and perhaps even a brief political perspective.
The venue is just a short walk from Mt Eden Train Station, and lunch is pay as you go.
We would love to see you there for a wonderful end-of-year catch-up!
