Terms 2 and 3 (Winter)
College football teams compete in the Canterbury Football competitions. The 1st XI competes in the Mainland Football Premier 1st XI competition on Wednesday during the season. The Junior 1st XI competes in the CSS Premier junior competition, also on Wednesday. Other teams compete in Mainland competitions on Saturday.
The senior football team also participates in several inter-school events and national tournaments throughout Terms 2 and 3.
The football club has undertaken several overseas tours to North and South America. The most recent tour was to the United States and Canada in September/October 2018.
House football has both a junior and senior competition and takes place during the Winter Sports Festival in Term 3.

- 1st XI Captain selected for New Zealand Secondary Schools' U19 squad

- Mainland Football Competition – winner of 17th grade, division 1
2019
- 1st XI Premiership – Christ's College semifinalist – qualified for Premier National School tournament
- Mainland Football Competition – top 3 grade placings for College teams in 14th & 15th grade, division 1
2018
- CSS Junior XI Premiership – Christ's College champion
- Mainland Football Competition – top 3 grade placings for College teams, U14 Black winner of division 4
