Terms 2 and 3 (Winter)
College teams compete in the Canterbury Secondary Schools’ Wednesday competition. These matches take place at the Canterbury Table Tennis Association space in Blenheim Road or at school venues. Each boy needs his own bat and ball.

- The A team placed second in the Canterbury inter-school tournament.
- The team also competed in the National tournament in Palmerston North, finishing 12th in the country during tournament week.

Mike Hamel has won numerous representative titles, including both South Island and North Island titles over many years, and has held a national ranking. He is committed to developing skills and movement in young players, along with supporting a focused and positive sports culture.

Jaafar is originally from Lebanon where he coached the national team in various international and continental competitions. He moved to New Zealand in 2021 where he began coaching in Canterbury. Currently, Jaafar works as the junior development officer for Table Tennis Canterbury where he devotes his time to developing the future of Table Tennis.
