Terms 1 and 4 (Summer)

Boys wishing to participate in Polo are able to through the exemption process. Polo is not offered as a regular weekly sport.

College teams play in the Canterbury and South Island Schools’ Polo Tournament in March and December.

Recent Success

2025

  • Opened season with a commanding 6-2 international win
  • Went undefeated in group stages of the SUPA campaign and narrowly tied in the final after extra time
  • A-grade team won the final SUPA tournament convincingly, 5-1

2024

  • Part of the championship team at the final tournament of the season at Waireka Polo Farm
  • Two members of the national School Squad, named by New Zealand Polo

2023

  • Two players selected for the NZ School Team to tour Boston
  • Two players selected for the SI U21 team to play against NSW in NSW, Australia
