We are seeking an experienced International Student Manager who leads with integrity and honesty. This is a full time position with a start in the new year.
Reporting to the Director of Advancement – you will be responsible for the marketing and recruitment of all international students, and assisting with their overall care.
We require a self starter and team player with a desire to provide the best environment for our current and prospective students and their families. In this climate, you will need a creative mind to identify opportunities for maintaining and recruiting students, and developing engaging holiday programmes each term.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
High levels of integrity and professionalism, remaining calm under pressure
Ability to relate to a diverse range of stakeholders including students, school, staff, parents, caregivers, education agents and commercial suppliers
Considerable cultural intelligence and competency
Excellent written/oral communication and administration skills
Be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and work to strict deadlines
Grow current markets and identify and develop new markets for international students
Flexibility to travel internationally to market and promote the school

One of the leading independent schools in New Zealand, Christ's College is a day and boarding school for boys from Years 9–13. College is a school where boys thrive. We are dedicated to achieving our mission: Each boy at his best.
This is a part-time, ongoing role ideally commencing in the first two weeks of Term 1, 2021 i.e. between 1–15 February 2021. It will involve working with hard materials (wood and metal) to assist our Design and Technology Department.
Key tasks include:
Health & Safety, risk management, cleaning and maintenance of PPE equipment
Scheduled machine maintenance and sharpening/cleaning of tools
Machine and tool repairs
Ordering, managing outgoing and incoming materials/consumables
Assist teachers with materials prep for classes and/or assisting teachers in larger classes
Hours or work are between 20–28 hours per week, during College term time and one week in each of our four term breaks. The start and finish times are flexible for the right candidate.
