Part-time, fixed term. Start date: 17 June 2019; End date: 20 September 2019. FTTE up to 0.8 (to cover a staff member's leave of absence).

We are seeking a qualified Mathematics teacher, preferably with the ability to teach Statistics, commencing Monday 17 June. This position is offered as a 0.8 position, however a lighter load of 0.6 or 0.4 is negotiable depending on the candidate's preference. Applicants should state their other teaching subjects and have a willingness to be involved in the co-curricular programme at College.

Christ’s College is seeking a skilled and experienced registered electrician to join its maintenance team. This is a full-time, fixed-term role commencing at the end of April 2019 for a period of six months.

One of the leading independent schools in New Zealand, College is a day and boarding school for boys from Years 9–13.  The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on our important heritage buildings, as well as new educational facilities and College residential properties.

Key tasks include:
  • Contributing to the safety and preventive maintenance of our buildings, facilities and residential properties
  • Managing new electrical installations
  • Assisting with the maintenance and ongoing development of our energy management system
  • Electrical testing, tagging and recording of compliant leads and equipment
  • Installing and maintaining emergency lighting
  • Providing assistance with other general maintenance/handyman duties on College premises
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
  • Current registration as an electrician
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • A high standard of workmanship and a positive attitude
