Christ’s College is a day and boarding school affiliated with the Anglican Church of New Zealand, teaching boys from Year 9 to Year 13. Since 1850, Christ’s College has prepared generation after generation of young men for success in an ever-changing world. Following an extensive strategic review and the appointment of a new Executive Principal in 2016, the Christ's College Old Boys' Association and the Board are seeking to appoint an additional Board Member. The successful applicant will have an ongoing relationship with the Old Boys' Association as part of his or her board duties, and will be a joint appointment between the Old Boys’ Association and the Board.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that will lead the future of Christ’s College and the innovative programmes designed to prepare all students for the global world.

Candidates will be able to point to appropriate governance experience and training, whilst also being supportive of the benefits of an independent education. Ongoing senior experience in financial management or accountancy is the desired professional background for this vacancy.

A current or prior connection with Christ’s College is not a pre-requisite for this appointment.
