HEAD OF DEPARTMENT – PHYSICS

CUSTODIAN

Christ's College is seeking a reliable, honest, and hardworking individual to take over when our current Custodian retires. The Custodian has an important position at College and the successful applicant will be individually responsible for the security of the school as well as a part of the larger maintenance and grounds team.

General tasks include but are not limited to:
  • evening security rounds to ensure all gates, doors and windows are secure
  • response to out of hours maintenance and security call-outs
  • swimming pool water quality testing and cleaning
  • general grounds-keeping, maintenance and cleaning

Christ's College is very proud of its historic buildings and beautiful grounds. Because of this we are seeking a Custodian who takes pride in their work and will share our pride in the school.

To be successful in this role you must:
  • have excellent communication skills 
  • hold a full driver's licence
  • have a positive work attitude
  • be punctual and reliable
  • have excellent personal presentation
  • be a NZ resident or have a valid NZ work visa.

All College employees have to pass a full police check prior to appointment. The Custodian is required to live on site and will be provided with College accommodation.
