Fond farewell for leavers
Year 13 students officially ‘left’ College on Thursday, with a pared-back Senior Prize-giving and Leavers’ Service signalling a special end to a challenging year.
With the retiring Rev. Bosco Peters centre stage – and responsible for handing out the final prizes – the senior boys gathered in the Assembly Hall, many for the final time. Following an address by Executive Principal Garth Wynne, Board Chairman Hugh Lindo and Rev. Peters, James Currie was named College Dux while Claude Tellick was named Proxime Accessit. Outstanding basketball player Josh Book was awarded Sportsman of the Year. Henry Briscoe was awarded the Somes Prize for Outstanding Overall Contribution to the Arts and General Scholarship while many other boys were recognised for their talents.
The event was streamed live, ensuring that all members of the College community could enjoy the day.
