Close clash for Quadrangular Tournament final

Nelson College has won the Rugby Quadrangular Tournament Major Final on Upper on Thursday, overcoming Christ’s College in the final stage of the game, 27–25.
In the Minor Final, Whanganui Collegiate School beat Wellington College, 24–15.
Played in fine conditions, both games attracted crowds of supporters, with some impressive play and a great atmosphere throughout the annual tournament.
Earlier in the week, Nelson secured a place in the final by beating Whanganui Collegiate School, 41–14, while Christ’s College beat Wellington College 28–23.
