Christ’s College claims SI tennis titles

Christ’s College has won the South Island Secondary Schools (SISS) Tennis Teams Championships and South Island Teams Cup after an unbeaten run at Wilding Park.
The premier College team – featuring Jack Hansen-Ratter, Liam Barrett, Lucca Wiseman, Lucas Evans, George Brakenridge, and Franklin Barry – has claimed the teams title, while Louis de Lautour, Tasman Daly, and Nick Rayner have triumphed in the South Island Cup.
College has delivered a powerful display in the 14-team SISS contest while the cup team has been in equally fine form throughout the two-day tournament, with neither team dropping a match.
College finished runner-up at the tournament last year following a title win in 2020.
