Sharing secrets of success
05 Sep 2018
Back for his Forty Years On reunion, Old Boy James Kerr also made time to share some of the insights he has learned while working with some of the world’s most successful high performance organisations.
James is a brand and business consultant who, through leadership and change consultancy Fable, specialises in defining, designing and delivering change for leaders, teams and organisations that want to “lift their game” and achieve exceptional results. His book Legacy: What the All Blacks can teach us about the business of life looks at the secrets of their success and how any organisation or individual can benefit from adopting the same approach.
One way to create a culture of success is to create an environment in which people can excel, says James. Having a clear vision and purpose, being inclusive, empowering individuals, encouraging engagement and personal responsibility, creating a narrative that everyone can relate to and aspires to be part of, are all key to achieving sustainable success.
Since leaving College James has established himself as a specialist in brand strategy and storytelling. We were delighted to welcome him back as one of our Thought Leaders at this special event on Sunday 2 September.
