Dressed down for a cause

Black and white gave way to a more casual look on Thursday 8 March, when students wore mufti instead of uniform. The mufti day fundraising event was in support of Aviva Family Violence Services, which helps individuals and families to live violence-free.

Head of Service Sam Howard says Aviva is the chosen charity for this year’s Lenten Appeal. “It’s a great charity, which doesn’t get as much attention as it should. But thankfully, through a day like this, more and more people can become aware of it in the College community.”

With a large number of students choosing to where mufti, Sam says there was more money raised for a very worthy cause.
