Cardrona here we come

College goes into the South Island Ski Championships in a strong position after impressive results in the Canterbury championships.
HoD Technology Eloise Nevin is taking the team of eight (Years 10–13) to Cardrona, where it is expected to be in great form against the South Island’s best.
“We were first and second in the individual events at Mt Hutt in the Canterbury champs and first and third in the teams’ events,” she said.
“The boys are hoping for some great results at Cardrona!”
Results from the Canterbury Secondary Schools’ Ski Championships were:
Individual – Boys Fastest Ski
1st – Sam Hadley, winner of the Hamilton Challenge Cup
2nd – Cameron Nicolson
Teams Boys’ Ski Team
1st – Christ’s College 1, and winner of the Interschool Ski Trophy
2nd – Christchurch Boys’ High School
3rd – Christ’s College 2
Sam Hadley, Cameron Nicolson, Ollie Moginie and Nick Schneideman were members of the Christ’s College 1 team, and Will Schneideman, George Lill and Ned Botherway made up the Christ’s College 2 team.
