Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent

An Ash Wednesday Chapel service today marked the beginning of Lent. The service concluded with many boys and staff receiving the traditional cross of ash on their foreheads. The Chaplain also launched an appeal to raise funds for the City Mission and, for overseas, clean water and sanitation in Africa through the organisation Beyond Water.
