Payroll Officer & Accounts Clerk
We are seeking an organised, pro-active and experienced Payroll Officer & Accounts Clerk with a strong level of accuracy and attention to detail. This is a part-time position during College term time and school holidays (approximately 32-40 hours per fortnight). The hours may have some flexibility for the successful candidate.
The Payroll Officer will have previous experience in payroll, be systems-focused and have excellent communication skills. Our ideal candidate would understand the need for confidentiality and discretion in a professional environment, have effective time-management skills and experience in applying the requirements of relevant employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with supervisors on timely approval of timesheets
- Timely and accurate payroll processing and payment
- Co-ordination with payroll bureau
- Develop and run payroll reports
- Management of annual, sick, lieu and other leave
- Ensure compliance with PAYE, RWT and other payroll-related requirements
- Maintain employee master data including new starts and terminations, employee entitlements eg management units, allowances
- Handle employee payroll queries in a timely, efficient, confidential and helpful manner
- Generate regular reports including leave balances for review by the Human Resources Manger
- Refers inconsistencies to CFO for review
- Balance sheet reconciliations of all payroll-related accounts including payroll clearing and leave balances
- Reconciliation of non-payroll-related accounts as directed by the CFO
- Collation, recharging, reconciliation and management of disbursements
- Ability to handle payroll queries and follow-up

Boarding House Tutors
Christ's College is seeking enthusiastic, organised Tutors to work in either casual or permanent, part-time roles within our boarding Houses. These are both residential and non-residential roles. Successful candidates will have an aptitude and experience around working with students. We have some room for flexibility around hours and duties as follows:
- Help out with student homework in the evenings
- Assistance with student supervision on a Saturday or Sunday
- Leading our juniors in sports/activities after school
