The science of Christ’s College scholars

Christ’s College 2024 leavers Lester Lai, Nick Sharr, and Angus Whitteker – along with 2025 Deputy Head Prefect Aaron Kwak – have achieved three NZQA Scholarships each.
Of the 27 Scholarships awarded to College students, two are at Outstanding level. In total, six Scholarships have been achieved in Physics and six in Chemistry while five have been gained in English.
Angus has gained an Outstanding Scholarship in Chemistry, and Scholarships in Physics and Statistics while Lester has gained an Outstanding Scholarship in Calculus, and Scholarships in Chemistry and Physics.
Nick Sharr has achieved Scholarships in Calculus, English, and History. Meanwhile, Freddie Coates and Harry Vaughan have both achieved Scholarships in Chemistry and Physics and Sam Hales has gained Scholarships in English and History.
Along with Aaron (Chemistry, English, and History), Ryan Gu (Calculus and Music), Tomas Coberger (English), and David Wayne (English) have achieved Scholarships in Year 12.
