Supporting students in the Tutoring Space

Wanting to inspire younger boys to achieve academically, Christ’s College Head of Academic Nico Blundell and fellow senior students have set up the Tutoring Space.

Providing a place for students who want to extend their academic learning, or find support in a range of school subjects, the Tutoring Space enables boys to connect, collaborate, and seek help.

“We want to offer a more structured and supportive approach to peer learning, with boys able to ask questions and benefit from individual support and strategies,” Nico explains.

With a pool of Years 12–13 students available, boys can regularly visit the Tutoring Space.

“We all want to give back to College in our final years as mentors and ‘older brothers’ who can help to provide a deeper understanding of concepts covered in classes,” he says. “We aim to pass on our knowledge and learning strategies to the next generation.”
