Old Boys team up to kick off Rugby Reunion

More than 30 former 1st XV players have lined up at College on Friday to celebrate their Rugby heydays during an action-packed reunion, culminating in a sideline seat for the big clash with Christchurch Boys’ High School at Orangetheory Stadium.
Encompassing players from 25 Years on (1997), 50 Years On (1972), 60 Years On (1962) and two very special guests from 70 Years On (1952), the busy day has included morning tea in the School House Library, lunch in the Dining Hall and, most importantly, team photos.
The former school sports stars – including 87-year-olds Tom Tothill and John Clayton – also have been treated to an entertaining evening, with College tackling Boys’ High in the curtain-raiser to the Crusaders versus Queensland Reds Super Rugby Pacific game.
