Maadi medals for Christ’s College

Christ's College has finished the Maadi Regatta with a podium finish in the premier U18 coxed eight Maadi Cup, winning bronze on Lake Karāpiro.

In a season highlight, College has won gold in the U15 coxed octuple while both the U17 and the U16 coxed eights, along with the U18 coxed four, have claimed bronze.

The U15 coxed octuple – featuring Jai Ferguson, Charlie Wilson, Matthew Vance, Max Inglis, Thomas Richmond, Olly Glackin, Joshua Padayachee, Cooper Ward, and Alex Innes – has had a stunning run, powering to 1st.

Meanwhile, the U18 coxed four (Will Richards, Geordie Pavey, George Young, Max Airey, and cox Daniel Wilson) has stepped up to finish 3rd in the Springbok Shield.

Racing in a new boat named in memory of Flower’s House Matron Karen Adams, the College eight includes Will Richards, Finnian Chan-Allan, James Hadden, Geordie Pavey, George Young, Henry Jones, George Wilson, Max Airey, and cox Jonty Gray.

Both the U17 (Ollie-Cooper King, Harvey Gubb, Max Airey, George Wilson, Toby Adams, Henry Jones, Oscar Malone, Jack James, and cox Gabriel Beavan) and the U16 (Jai Ferguson, Freddy Parfitt, George Hadden, Alex Lascelles, Arthur Brown, Alex Richards, Harry Blakely, Matthew Vance, and cox Jono Simpson) coxed eights have also finished in podium spots.
