Lucas Evans serves up tennis title winner

Tennis talent Lucas Evans has won both the singles and doubles titles at the Rod Laver Lead-in 16 and Under Tier 1 championships at the Brisbane Tennis Centre in Queensland.
The Year 12 Julius House student has also continued his good form in the following Rod Laver tournament, reaching the singles semi-finals and the doubles final.
Two Year 11 College students have also featured in a 16 and Under tournament, with Tasman Daly reaching the quarter-finals in the Tier 3 main draw and Hugo Buchan winning the Tier 3 consolation final in Brisbane. Year 9 student Nick Rayner has also made his mark in Australia, finishing 3rd in the 14 and Under Tier 3 championships.
Meanwhile, national No.1 Jack Hansen-Ratter has represented New Zealand in the 15 and Under section at the Australian Teams Championships on the Gold Coast.
Jack has recorded several good wins during the tournament, with New Zealand finishing 6th overall at the highly competitive event.
