Celebrating outstanding student achievement, Honours Ties have been presented to 72 boys who have excelled in kapa haka, Theatresports, drama, and music.

Head of Arts Charlie Wood has achieved a remarkable Christ’s College first, being recognised for a record-setting fourth time in drama.

Many boys have been acknowledged for their commitment and outstanding leadership in multiple arenas during a special Assembly, with families joining the students in the Chapel.

Christ’s College Headmaster Joe Eccleton has told the boys to “be proud of your success” but “carry those achievements with grace and humility”.

He has reminded those honoured that “it’s all about the young men they have become”.

In total, 15 boys have also been awarded The Duke of Edinburgh’s Hillary Award, including seven Gold recipients.
