Golden runs for Christ’s College athletes

Year 9 College runners Henry Ridd and Taio Ferreira have taken the top two spots while Sam Moore has won the junior section at the Canterbury Cross Country Championships at Ascot Park.
In the Year 9 race, Henry has powered home in 12:15, closely followed by Taio in 12:22. Oscar Taylor has finished 6th while Edy Johnson has taken the 14th spot to help secure team gold.
In the junior section, College has again won team gold. Sam has run an impressive 10:56 while Noah Madgwick has placed seventh. Wilbur Talbot and Harrison Tapper have come home 16th and 18th, respectively.
In the senior race, Otto Church has finished 10th, and Louis Hiatt has made the top 20.
