Gold standard in science

A remarkable number of College students have been lauded at Assembly for their outstanding results in Chemistry and Biology Olympiads, and international and national science competitions.
Aaron Kwak has achieved Gold in the Chemistry Olympiad selection exam and an incredible 100 per cent (Excellent level) in the International Chemistry Quiz (ICQ). He has also been commended for his results in the Otago Science Quiz and been selected for the Biology Olympiad tutorial programme, having gained Bronze.
Ryan Gu has achieved Bronze in the Chemistry Olympiad selection exam, while Bill Li and Ericsson Ye have also been selected for further Olympiad tutorials in Biology following their Bronze-level achievements. In an impressive triple, Ericsson has finished 2nd equal in the Otago Science Quiz, along with achieving High Distinction in the ICQ.
Bill Li, Paddy Newton, and Lester Lai have all gained High Distinction in the ICQ. Tom Kerr, Felix Liu, Alex Richards, Bill Cross, Marco Howe, JJ Wada, Angus Whitteker, James Floyd, Jack Hastie, Daniel Wilson, Ben Cuddihy, Jake Hallenstein, Sam Moore, Conor Ruane, and George Thorp have all been awarded Distinction.
Bill Li, Bill Cross, and Angus Whitteker have also been commended for their Otago Science Quiz achievements.
