Emmy Award for Old Boy Michael Donaldson
Old Boy Michael Donaldson (13848) has won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Sound Editing For A Nonfiction Or Reality Programme at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles for his work on Peter Jackson’s documentary, The Beatles: Get Back.
The eight-hour, three-part documentary covers the making of The Beatles’ 1970 final album release, Let It Be, and features unused footage and audio material from the 1970 sessions.
Michael, the foley editor for the documentary, works for Park Road Post Production. He was in the United States to pick up his award on the night.
The Creative Arts Emmy Awards honour outstanding artistic and technical achievement.
Michael has also won an American Cinema Audio Society Award and a Motion Picture Sound Editors Golden Reel Award for his work on The Beatles: Get Back.
