College trio takes off with Reflex Media

Three College students are piloting a new business that delivers a fresh perspective for real estate and a different focus for commercial business.

Oliver Butler, Rajan Stephens and Harry Trolove, all 17, are the brains behind a new creative studio, Reflex Media. Their highly visual enterprise has been inspired by their Agribusiness course at College requiring the boys to create a business concept for the real world.

“We plan to make an impact on the real estate and commercial business worlds by further developing our innovative, creative studio that delivers striking film and photography using advanced drone technology,” the boys explain. “We capture standout visuals of real estate, commercial premises and stunning spaces, promoting properties and special places via aerial media and walk-through videography to showcase these sites.”

Each boy brings complementary skills to their fledging business, including a passion for engineering, flying drones and entrepreneurship.

Having pitched their high-level, lower-cost approach to Harcourts, the boys already have several real estate agents on board and are on an expansion pathway as they line up extra staff.

“We plan to have three visual shoots on the books each week by early next year by delivering a faster turnaround at a lower cost through our mobile business. We always come to the client and bring a range of visual options to suit most businesses.”
