College claims three titles at SI Cross Country
College runners Sam Moore and Otto Church have won South Island Secondary Schools Cross Country Championship titles in Timaru.
Racing over a demanding 3000m Ashbury Park course in fine conditions, the small team of College runners impressed, with College winning the overall Year 9 team title.
In the Year 9 race, Sam has finished 10 seconds ahead of the next runner, while George Thorp has taken 9th place, followed by Sam Ensor in 12th.
In the junior race, Otto has produced a strong performance from the front to finish 33 seconds ahead of his nearest rival, with Harry Holmes in 17th place.
