College carves up Mount Hutt to take titles

Christ’s College has landed the double at the 2021 Canterbury Secondary School Ski and Snowboard Championships at Mount Hutt, winning both the team and individual titles.
College skiers powered through the snow in brilliant conditions to win the overall fastest boys’ team event last week, with Sam Hadley the fastest individual skier, followed by Tom Picton-Warlow in second spot and Ned Botherway finishing fifth overall.
In all, 12 College skiers and one snowboarder took part in the competition. Several boys will compete at the South Island championships in September.
