For the 4th consecutive year, Christ’s College has outsailed all-comers to win the Top of the South Secondary Schools Teams Sailing Regatta.

Hosted by Nelson Bays, the regatta features the best young sailors from across the southern region. Led by standout Year 13 skippers Will Leech and Nico Blundell and Year 11 skipper Saxon Foggo, Christ’s College won 14 out of 16 races to finish top in its pool.

College then was too strong for Nayland College – winning 2–0 – in the semi-final and defeated 2nd-ranked Garin College, 2–1, in the best-of-three final to again claim the premier title. The College crew featured Year 12 sailors George Gorman and Jack Farquhar, along with Year 9 sailor Luca Blundell, and reserves Eddie Gorman and Louis Miller.

Under the new competition format, College raced against mostly higher-ranked teams, ensuring a more rigorous and thorough preparation for the National Regatta in April.
