Christ’s College cyclists on fast track for SI titles

Christ’s College has had a standout weekend at the South Island School Road Cycling Championships at Ruapuna, with Harrison Tapper and Jack Gorrie leading the charge in the individual time trial to claim the U16 and U17 titles, respectively.
Will Crawford and Wilbur Talbot have also recorded impressive podium performances, finishing 2nd and 3rd in the U20 and U16 races, respectively.
A young team – featuring several promising Year 10 cyclists – has stepped up to the older age-group category for the 15.5km team time trial, with Jack Gorrie, Will Crawford, Wilbur Talbot, Harrison Tapper, and Louis Audeau finishing in 2nd place, just 15 seconds off the top spot.
In the road race, both Harrison and Wilbur have continued their superb form, finishing 1st and 3rd, respectively.
