Christ’s College students achieved some outstanding results in this year’s ICAS Science examination. Two students gained High Distinction awards, which puts them in the top 1% of students overall. While a further 18 students earned Distinction awards, placing them in the top 10% of their peers.
Through a series of multi-choice questions, the ICAS Science examination assesses students’ abilities in key scientific areas, such as observing and measuring, interpreting and applying data, and investigating, reasoning and problem solving skills. The examination covers all curriculum areas, including biology, chemistry, physics and earth sciences.
