College Tours
Our gates are again open as we offer College Tours, often led by our wonderful Old Boys.
Our initial 2023 tour season is underway, with guided tours available Monday–Friday, from 10–11.30am or 2–3.30pm, until Thursday 6 April (except for public holidays).
Everyone is welcome and can secure their tour spot by booking online here.
If any Old Boys are interested in joining our volunteer tour guide team, please contact the Alumni Manager, Lizzie Dyer, email hidden; JavaScript is required.
At the end of last year, when College resumed our tours following the restrictions of Covid-19, we welcomed Colin and Fiona Hunter from Braemar in Scotland.
We thought we would share their impressions of their visit.
“What a delightful and informative tour led by Don, an Old Boy of the College. Despite a few restrictions due to exams currently taking place, we had a thorough tour of the campus, historical information in terms of the buildings, and the social history of being a pupil at the College. We were fortunate to have a chat with the Drama teacher in the Old Boys’ Theatre, who was amazingly enthusiastic about the Drama programme at the school (although would not reveal the chosen production for the next musical!). For those interested in education and/or social history, we would say this is a must if you are visiting Christchurch.”
