Exchanges – a world of opportunity
It is an amazing world out there – and going on an exchange opens up many opportunities to benefit from the experience of time spent living and learning, immersed in another culture.
While the Covid pandemic has resulted in a pause in exchange opportunities for College students, as the borders reopen, we aim to reconnect with our partner schools and use the Round Square family to open up new destinations.
Prior to 2020, there were exchanges with schools in Britain, Germany, France, the United States, Argentina, Singapore, Japan and Australia. These exchanges involved boys from Years 9 to 12 and varied in length from four weeks to one term.
We are the only South Island member of Round Square, an international network of more than 160 schools in 40 countries, and have established exchange programmes with other Round Square-affiliated schools.
